AWS GetIT is a FREE educational program that offers a competition designed to inspire and empower girls and boys between 12 and 14 years old to learn to use technology in solving real-world problems, explore different types of technology careers,challenge stereotypes, and meet technology professionals.
AWS GetIT starts in September and has a duration of two months that can be spread throughout the academic year. If you still are thinking about it, write to us at info@newvalue.es.
Register your secondary school! The applications are open for the next academic year. Complete the AWS GetIT application form so your school is considered for the program.
Throughout the program AWS GetIT, students will work in teams to design an application and will receive virtual / face-to-face sessions taught by professionals in the technological area.
AWS GetIT is divided into three pillars:Engage and Inspire AWS GetIT introduces the program and cloud storage with an initial presentation, where they will show the variety of professional opportunities in technology that exist.Learn and Play As teams, they will design an application idea to solve a problem in their school or community, with the support of GetIT.Design and Presentation The students will be able to present their application idea in a competition alongside all participating centers. The teams will present to a panel of industry experts, and recognition will be given to the winning teams.
